Version 1.5.0 changes
- Script point view renderers
-
Users can now write their own server-side scripts to render point values on graphical views. This
dramatically widens the possibilities open to users to create functional views.
- Dynamic point view renderers
-
Mango now supports dynamic point views, and ships with a dial in two sizes as a sample. Dynamic views
use browser support for graphics drawing to dynamically render the value of a point. This improves on
image sets, which are still supported.
- Static content on views
-
Static content—i.e. arbitrary HTML code—can now be added to mango views. Like point views
they support full drag and drop. Unlike point views, they are not dependant upon points. This eases the
development of graphical views by reducing their coupling with background images.
- Hover control suppression
-
Users can now choose to suppress hover controls in graphical views.
- Scheduled event alias
-
An alias for a scheduled event can now be defined. If a scheduled event has an alias (i.e. non-empty) it
will be used as the event's description instead of the automatically determined description.
- Sound updates
-
Due to a codec update on some users' workstations, some sounds that ship with Mango where not playing
properly. These sounds have been replaced with others that have retained their playing quality.
- Google Chrome is now officially supported
- Various minor enhancements and bug fixes
- Version number
- Version changed from 1.4.2 to 1.5.0
