Version 1.12.2 changes
JMX data source
Data is now available for reading and writing via JMX.
Report attachments
Reports that are emailed now have the option of having their attachments compressed as a zip file.
Atlassian Crowd integration
Integration of the Atlassian Crowd product has been added to support single sign-on in Mango. Thanks to AES Energy Storage for commissioning this work.
Report consolidated chart
Individual points can now be excluded from a report's consolidated chart.
Persistent TCP publisher/data source
Enhancements to do with performance and robustness continue to be made to this publisher/data source combination. Now, point hierarchies are synchronized. Also, the publisher can define an "XID prefix" that is used to ensure multiple local instances that are copies of each other still have unique XIDs when they connect to a central instance to deliver their data. Finally, data synchronization information events have been added to the publisher, which provide details on the outcome of a sychronization.
Meta point history
You can now create a full history for a meta point, based upon existing data in your database. Click the "generate history" icon in the meta point list, and the history of point's context (from the most recent inception date) will be replayed up until the inception of the meta point.
Watchlist changes
Watchlists can now be copied. Also, a checkbox has been added to the watchlist rows which determines if the point is included on the consolidated chart. Finally, the list of watchlists is now sorted by name.
Device name
A field called "device name" has been added to points. This field is initially defaulted to the data source name, but can be modified. It replaces the use of the data source name in the point's extended name throughout the system.
Page load performance
The page load performance of many pages has been improved by optimizing the loading of point information. This is especially effective on instances with many points.
Chart colours
System settings have been added such that the background and gridline colours of charts can be customized. Changes apply to all graphical charts created by Mango.
Overridable email templates
Email templates can now be overridden by creating custom versions of templates the "ftl-override" directory. Also, a "subject" directive has been added to allow custom email subjects to be specified.
Chart data export
Chart data can now be exported with a single click. Charts on the watchlist and data point details pages now have a export icon which, when clicked, exports the chart data into a CSV file for download.
Create reports from watchlist
You can now create a new report from the points on a watchlist with a single click.
Instance description in event emails
Event emails now contain the instance description, making it easier to determine where emails came from in multi-instance environments.
Meta point initialization
Meta points with scheduled updates were incorrectly calculating their timeout on initialization. This has been fixed.
Data point editing
The "discard extreme values" checkbox could not be (permanently) unchecked once set. This has been fixed.
