Mango, open source M2M
Welcome to the home of Mango, the world's most popular open source Machine-to-Machine (M2M) software (also
known as Industrial Control, SCADA, HMI, or domotics). Mango is browser-based, Ajax-enabled M2M software
that enables users to access and control electronic sensors, devices, and machines over multiple protocols
simultaneously. Easy to download and install on many platforms, Mango provides an interface with which
diverse data sources can be created and configured while providing downstream management of user access,
alerts, data logging, and automation.

squwk.com! Now open for registration
Continuing in the tradition of providing great Machine-To-Machine software, Serotonin Software has just
released squwk.com! (Formerly called Aspen during its development.) squwk.com is a cloud-based
service product with multiple functional points, including:
- Cloud data logging
-
Log your data to a massive time series repository. Store as much data of any format as you want for
as long as you need. Use the squwk SDK to access the service via the API.
- Cloud key generation
-
Create key generators and request unique incrementing ids or GUIDs, guaranteed to be unique even if
requests come from multiple sources.
- Data stream monitoring
-
Attach detectors to data streams to monitor them for events that are of interest to you. Use handlers
including SMTP, HTTP, and event logging to find out what is going on in your data when it happens.
Replay historical data through detectors to see how the detector would have reacted.
For more information, visit squwk.com. Register there to get
access and join our newsletter mailing list. If you just want to keep on top of squwk development for now,

Success stories
"I love this product... I think as people catch on it will be very successful. I'd like to be a part of
that. Mango is so cool compared to the others!
— Matthew Bailey,
MJB computers
"We are using Mango for energy audit in the middle school "Fra Claudio" of Santa Lucia di Piave. We
collect temperatures, relative humidity, light, and electrical consumptions, and elaborate with data from
the University of Padova department of technical physics."
"We have used Mango M2M and found it solid and very useful. We have also written our own module to
extend certain functionalities and these were successful as well. All in all a good, modern, open
product."
— Hal Popplewell, Agentware Systems
"I never been accustomed on having so quick support by major automation solution providers."
"I continue to be amazed at the flexibility and capability of Mango!"
"Great work! I set up a third party modbus device in under an hour, a feat unto itself as I have used
many software packages that are much more difficult to setup quantities than this one. keep up the good
work."
