Hello,
I´ve noticed sometimes the public views don´t render properly - background image and components don´t load, and all we get is the small "block" image in the place of each component (at least they are layed out at correct positions, but don´t actually "show" anything).
This only happens at public views... everything works OK when normally loggin in and going to the graphical views.
This is very random and unfortunately, difficult to reproduce. Reloading sometimes does the trick to fix it. One user reported it is related to the computer going to "sleep" or "hibernate" modes, and then coming back to operation, but I´ve personally seen Firefox with this same behavior, with no sleeping/hibernating involved.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Any idea of how to debug this, or what technology could be causing this? (jsp, dwr/ajax...)?
Thanks,
best regards.

Hello
I found this project which looks very interesting.
Just need to check copyright terms & conditions for derived works.

Hello,
we have come up with a detailed step-by-step on adding custom protocols.
it was written in portuguese, unfortunatelly it would take too long to translate it. But i guess google could translate it for you
well here it is, good luck.
https://sites.google.com/a/certi.org.br/certi_scadabr/home/minicursos/scada
small notice: ScadaBR is in fact heavily based on mango, so just replace "scadabr" for "mango" all over the docs. be happy

Hi, we are beginning to organize an illustrated wishlist for graphic components. I posted a quick brief here - https://sites.google.com/a/mcasistemas.com.br/m2mwidgets/ - so that we can kick-start collaboration.
All types of ideas, links, etc. really welcome!
once completed, it could be released as a plain zipped "image pack" or graphics modules for m2m2, depending on copyright agreements among the designers/sponsors. my vote is pro-"creative commons" or copylefted works, as possible.
best regards...

Hello
For anyone who whishes to "sponsor" the designer work, or for those who could provide a samples library, I´m interested in coordinating the effort of generating a complete "list" of commonly-used components for SCADA and HMI displays.
please post links for samples, public-domain or open-source libraries, or even screenshots like it was already mentioned. we could compile a "backlog"/wishlist, like in google docs or wiki, and start populating it with the artworks.
I have great interest in this issue because we have users from ScadaBR, which is based on Mango, who have already requested it, but i´m currently a bit short of good designers but we could do the organisation/packaging work with no trouble.
my suggestion is doing the individual graphics components in svg as possible, then distributing "original" vetorial artwork as well as pre-rendered bitmaps (gif/png) in small, mid and large-sized files.
thank you very much!
