I purchase iLinkUSBi interface for 1-wire network. I initially had problems getting the 1-wire viewer to recognize this 1-wire adapter until I was told by ilink technical that the latest drivers 4.03 do not work with it. Dropping back to 4.02 as suggest and the adapter works fine and recognizes my sensors with the 1-wire viewer.
When I fire up MANGO, MANGO will not recognize that the adapter exists. The adapter shows up as DS9097U_DS9480 in the 1-wire viewer. I also have a ilink12i which is COM port connected to the computer rather than USB. In the 1-wire viewer the device also shows up as DS9097U_DS9480, but MANGO can read it. :-S
Can anyone help me understand why this happens and how to fix it? I am running Windows XP.
That device may be newer than the 1wire library currently used by Mango. The default adapter that Mango looks for is a DS9097U, so there might be something critically different about yours. We recommend that you ship us the device so that we can get it working, and we will ship it back to you when we're done.
