How many companies are using Mango M2M?

I'm beginning the process of evaluating HMI (Human-Machine Interface) software for use with the devices my company builds. One concern is the level of support we can expect. I have been asked specifically about the the size of M2M's installed base. As Mango is open source, I know you may not know exactly, but can you give me some idea of the number of commercial installations of M2M?

You're right, we don't know exactly how many installations there are, so some are behind firewalls and as a result never check in. Of the ones we know about, at last count, there were in the area of 980 installations, and of these, at least 80% are being used in commercial applications.

In terms of support, Mango M2M is a fully supported product, and companies are able to contract different level of support and development services to match their needs, and this ranges from direct email-phone support on a per incident basis, through to being part of a level-2 response network for larger applications and installations.
