Not sure. The directories look good, so the only things i can suggest are to 1) restart the Tomcat instance, and 2) make sure the Java in which you put the libraries is the same as the Java that Tomcat is running under.

Hey, no problem. I solved this: I did not realize a) that you had to go to Sun to get comm.jar b) once copied into the correct directory, you have to restart Tomcat.

Huh. Ok, well, good. What's funny though is it was complaining about missing gnu.io classes, which are definitely not in comm.jar.

On my initial install I had gnu.io errors because I had an older jdk.
