after restarting tomcat I get this message:
INFO 2008-07-07 15:55:06,812 (com.serotonin.mango.db.upgrade.Upgrade1_2_2.upgrade:37) - Running script

I get about 40 of those per second for the last 10 minutes (each one as a different number after the comma). Is this part of the upgrade routine or should I be worried?

Thanks,
Josh

What a difference a single character can make. A bug in the database update code was causing an infinite loop. (It kept changing the version to 1.2.2 instead of 1.2.3, making it start the version update code again.)

The offending class has been fixed and checked in, and new distribution files have been created. Our apologies to all users. Note that the version is still 1.2.3.

P.S. this problem was only in the open version. The commercial version is correct.

It could just be a problem with FF3, since it's not officially supported by Mango. But, try hitting ctrl+f5 to make sure your cache is cleared, and see if that helps.
